NRS has the ability to import Wiki dumps such as those available from Wikimedia: Wikipedia, Wikiquote, Wikinews, Wikispecies, and more. The XML RDF format for import and export is straightforward to use.

Wiki pages are viewed through an NRS template of type "wiki". Wiki pages can be edited, you can view history information, and you can create new Wiki pages by creating a wiki hyperlink to a new page and editing it.

You can control security of the wiki page through template settings. You can select whether only signed up members can edit wiki pages or anybody.

As soon as a wiki page is modified, it is incrementally indexed and is immediately searchable.

Wiki search results can be incorporated into the main index. If a direct hit occurs on the search term, an extract from the Wiki page is generated and placed at the top of the search results. Also metadata generated from the Wiki search result pages such as lists of wiki hyperlinks, lists of wiki category links, are generated for useful search result metadata.

Wiki pages are rendered into HTML by translating wikitext into XML. The XML is then rendered into HTML using the template's XSL stylesheet.
