NRS Bookmark and Tag Overview
NRS features bookmarking and tagging technology. Users can import their browser bookmark file and create a button on their browser toolbar or install the NRS browser toolbar for one click bookmarking of pages on the web. A bookmarked page can be kept private or shared. When bookmarking a page, a title, a description, and one or more tag names are provided. The tags then provide a way to find the bookmark using tag lists and tag clouds.
Any link added is spidered and immediately indexed and merged into a full-text index.
In the Enterprise
NRS is the perfect tool for building research portals within the enterprise. It allows workgroups to build information repositories that can be browsed, crawled, indexed, searched, and securely managed.
Use NRS to encourage a culture of sharing bookmarks across the enterprise. Too often, valuable knowledge is locked away on a worker's PC.
